At the Slashing Pumpkins, our mission is to bring people together through a shared love of hockey. We aim to create an inclusive and welcoming community where players of all skill levels and backgrounds can enjoy the game, form lasting friendships, and compete in a fun, supportive environment.
Whether on the ice or the roller rink, we believe hockey is more than just a sport—it’s a way to connect people from around the world, foster teamwork, and celebrate the joy of the game. From beginners learning the ropes to seasoned players reliving their glory days, we strive to ensure everyone has a chance to play, grow, and, most importantly, have fun.
Winning is great, but for us, the real victory is the friendships we make, the laughs we share, and the memories we create—both on and off the rink. Together, we’re not just building teams; we’re building a family.

Today, the Slashing Pumpkins compete in more than 10 international tournaments a year across Europe and North America, often fielding multiple teams. On the ice we have three teams: the Slashing Pumpkins, the Fighting Irish, and our newest addition — the Lame Dogs, who joined the family in 2025. On the roller rink, we field two active teams in the veterans’ league. And if you want to take it to the next level — our Canada travel programme takes European players to NHL cities for the full experience.
