This policy explains how Club Esportiu Slashing Pumpkins HC ("the club", "we", "us") handles your personal data when you contact us or use this website. We keep it short and only collect what we need to get you playing hockey.

Who we are

Club Esportiu Slashing Pumpkins HC, an amateur ice and roller hockey club based in Barcelona, Spain. For any question about your data, email paul@slashingpumpkins.com or message us on WhatsApp at +34 693 913 740.

What we collect

• Details you send us. When you fill in the join or contact form, or message us by email or WhatsApp, we receive your name, your contact details (email and/or phone) and whatever you write in your message.
• Basic, anonymous visit stats. We use Vercel Web Analytics to see roughly how many people visit which pages. It is privacy-friendly: it does not use cookies and does not collect information that identifies you personally.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and tell you how to come and train with us.
• To organise sessions, teams, travel and club life if you join.
• To understand, anonymously, which parts of the site are useful.

The legal basis is your consent and our legitimate interest in running the club and responding to people who get in touch. We never sell your data and we never use it for advertising.

Who else sees it

We keep your data to ourselves and only use trusted service providers to run the site:

• Vercel hosts the website and provides the anonymous analytics.
• Resend delivers the email generated by the contact form to the club's inbox.

These providers only process your data so the site can function, and are not allowed to use it for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

We keep your enquiry only as long as we need to deal with it, and your membership details for as long as you are involved with the club. Ask us to delete your data at any time and we will.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to show you the data we hold, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Just email paul@slashingpumpkins.com and we will sort it out. You also have the right to complain to the Spanish data protection authority (AEPD, aepd.es).

Cookies

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our analytics are cookieless, so there is nothing to opt in or out of.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. See also our legal notice.
